		<description>How they are made depends on the materials they were made from.  Wood and stone/coral beads are usually hand carved (the good ones at least), but are heading towards manufacturing.  Stone beads are gorgeous; some are precision cut and tumbled,then a hole is drilled into them.  Glass beads are blown, just like a vase or a glass bowl.
